Some pictures of different habitats and their names to cut up and sort. I then got my students to stick them into their books and add other animals and plants they would find there.

An Articulate style game covering Maths, English, Science, History and Geography key words, 48 cards in total. I used the cards as a revision tool for key vocabulary in the lead up to tests. Could be used as starter or plenary. Split class into teams and give 60 seconds to describe as many words as they can in the chosen category without saying the word. Team with the most points wins!

I stick this in the front of the student's Science books so when they write up their investigations they can refer to it and get support with what they need to include.
